Red Arrows returning to the skies following double cancellation

The Red Arrows are set to take to the skies again after cancelling shows this week due to technical issues.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the Red Arrows said they would "resume display flying today" after resolving an engineering issue.
They said this would include a performance at Eastbourne Airshow – having cancelled a display there on day one of the event just 24 hours ago.

However, the Red Arrows did warn in their X post their display was "subject to severe weather forecast on the south coast".
As well as cancelling a previous display at Eastbourne, the Red Arrows had also cancelled a display at a seaside carnival in Norfolk just hours before the team was due to take to the skies the day before.
A social media post by the Red Arrows on X said the display would not go ahead "due to unforeseen technical issues".
