British Army wishes Duke of Edinburgh happy 60th birthday with bagpipe performance

The Army has wished the Duke of Edinburgh a happy birthday with a fitting bagpipe performance.

A video was posted on X showing a military musician playing Happy Birthday on the bagpipes.

"When the Royal Colonel's birthday falls on #internationalbagpipeday there's only one way to wish him the best!" the post read.

Elsewhere, the Reserve soldiers and officers from 1 London Guards also posted a Happy Birthday video on X for Prince Edward.

The video shows personnel carrying out different roles, including firing a machine-gun and carrying out a patrol.

"We wish His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh a very happy birthday and best wishes for the future," the post said.

2 Rifles shared a picture of Prince Edward during a visit to the battalion, along with a post that wished the Prince "a very happy 60th birthday".
