2 SCOTS soldier to battle it out in BBC Gladiators show Grand Final

Contender: ARE, YOU, READY? Is the question facing a Royal Regiment of Scotland soldier in the grand final of the hit BBC show Gladiators.
Major Finlay Anderson, 2 SCOTS, will not watch the final at home with friends and family as he is currently deployed overseas on operations, but he made sure to thank everyone for all the messages of support in a post on his Instagram.
The Army Officer said he was looking forward to the "heckling" from his company never mind how the result of the final goes.
'Surreal'
Maj Anderson told BBC, he started the journey "just happy with the opportunity to be on such an iconic show from my childhood".
He added it was "surreal" getting to the final.
The company commander has previously credited his military background for helping him through the multiple back-to-back events.
'Military mindset'
He explained to Forces News how the "military mindset" helped give him the power to take on the Gladiators in the 'ultimate test of strength and speed' on the latest reboot of the iconic 90s show.
Maj Anderson said before his quarter-final it helped him "just to keep going no matter what and never quit".
He added: "Not finishing until the job is done, that's the military mindset against all costs and whatever it may take.
"I think that's where the training really came into its own."
Maj Anderson has taken on events such as Duel, Gauntlet, The Wall, The Ring, The Edge and The Eliminator final challenge.
He said elements of the challenge were "kind of similar" to the military assault course in some ways, but did note that some of the items were certainly not on the military assault courses.
"The diversity of what you experience in the military is probably what set me up as well," he added.
Two contenders will be crowned the champions at the end of Saturday's show, one male and one female.
The Grand Final will be screened today on BBC1 and iPlayer at 17:50 GMT.
