2,600 Miles, Eight Days, One Pair Of Trainers
Personnel from NATO’s Allied Rapid Reaction Corps Support Battalion have completed a marathon challenge running from Latvia to Belgium.
The team have been on exercise in Eastern Europe since October but decided to run back to NATO HQ to raise money for Royal British Legion and a veteran’s home near their base in Gloucester.
As Carla Prater reports above, they have run the astounding distance of 100 marathons in just over eight days.

One person who is planning on taking on his own marathon challenge - with a difference - is Sandhurst graduate Tim Peake.
Final preparations are underway in Kazakhstan for the launch that will take the former Army Air Corps Major to the International Space Station - from where he'll complete a 26.2 mile run.
The Soyuz rocket is now in place at the Baikonur Cosmodrome for tomorrow's blast off.
The former Apache pilot is blasting off for a six-month mission to the International Space Station and will become the first official British astronaut in the process.
