Archie Gilkison's WW1 Cartoons on Display
The work of an unknown cartoonist from the First World War has been given a permanent home at the University of Glasgow.
Archie Gilkison's drawings were regularly published during the great war but haven't been seen outside of his family for almost a century.
His great great granddaughter Marianne Taylor showed them to Glasgow University in honour of the war's 100 year anniversary.
Experts there said it was an important account of life at the time and plan to use his work in a major exhibition at the university next year.
