Britain Rejects 'Illegal' Detention Facilities Claims
In Afghanistan, President Hamid Karzai has accused Britain and America of continuing to run what he calls “illegal” detention facilities in the country.
It comes after a recent investigation by Afghan officials. Both nations reject the claims, saying their facilities in Afghanistan are no secret.
The International Committee of the Red Cross has told BFBS it visits the sites at Kandahar and Camp Bastion on a regular basis.
