Fife Prepares to Welcome Army to Leuchars

In March 2015 more than 100 years of aviation history in Fife in Scotland will come to an end.

RAF Leuchars is becoming an Army barracks under Army 2020 rebasing plans. The base is preparing for the arrival of nearly 800 troops and their families who will be coming from Germany.

In the summer, personnel from the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, 2 CS Battalion REME and 110 Provost Company will be moving from Fallingbostel and Senelager to settle in the Kingdom of Fife.
