Frontline Combat Roles Could Be Opened to Women

Frontline combat roles could be opened to women for the first time after a six month review. The study could be signed off by the Defence Secretary this week and would give women the chance to perform the same combat roles as men. 

They are currently able to serve on the front line but the report suggests they could join infantry and tank regiments after rules were relaxed.
