Global Terrorism on the Rise
New research suggests global terrorism is on the rise. The report by the Institute for Economics and Peace says the number of people killed in attacks worldwide jumped by almost 61 percent last year.
It says the vast majority of the 18-thousand people killed were attacked in just five countries.
