Guards' Chapel Marks 70th Anniversary of V1 Bombing

A commemoration service has been held at the Guards' Chapel at the Wellington Barracks in London. It marks the 70th anniversary of the Chapel being hit by a V1 Flying Bomb during the morning service.

It killed 124 and seriously injured more than a hundred worshippers in the Chapel. It was the single deadliest attack of Nazi Germany's V1 campaign.

Victoria Smith was at the commemoration service.
