The Hunt for a Tiny Village's Wartime History

Hannah Gurney spoke to Anthony Houghton-Brown. He is on the hunt for the wartime history of Tingewick. He is part of the Village's Historical Society and uses local knowledge along with the Internet to find out about locals who went to fight in the First World War. 
His Grandfather shared stories and anecdotes with him when he was young. He never spoke about the horrors of war however. Anthony is attempting to piece together what he can from his Grandfather's life.
 
It's very important in a village like Tindgewick that we remember our past
