Military Working Dog Posthumously Awarded Dickin Medal

The PDSA Dickin Medal - the animal equivalent of a Victoria Cross - has been posthumously awarded to a military working dog killed in Afghanistan.

Sacha - a four-year-old labrador - died alongside her handler Lance Corporal Kenneth Rowe, while on patrol in Helmand Province in July 2008.
