Millwall FC's Powerful Film to Mark First World War Anniversary
In 1914, millions of men and women gave up their daily lives to save a nation. Football clubs across the country had players volunteer for active service, many of whom never returned.
Millwall FC has honoured the anniversary by producing a moving film and commemorative kit to raise funds for Headley Court.
On Saturday 8th November, for Millwall's home match against Brentford, the special commemorative kit will be worn by the players in remembrance of these courageous servicemen and women and in support of Headley Court Military Rehabilitation Centre.
The commemorative shirt will be available to fans at £50 for adults and £40 for juniors. Proceeds from all sales will be donated to the Headley Court Benevolent Fund. The commemorative kit will be available to pre-order on Monday 20th October from the Lions Store or online at www.mfcshop.co.uk
