Nick Clegg Refuses to Rule Out Extending Britain's Air Campaign

Nick Clegg has refused to rule out extending Britain's air campaign against Islamic State fighters in Iraq to Syria but he won't commit to boots on the ground.

He was responding to comments made yesterday by General Lord Richards, who has again questioned the governments plan to reduce the size of the Army in light of the threat from IS.

However, Mr Clegg doesn't agree extra troops are needed.
