Operation Gritrock: The Plan to Tackle Ebola
Charlotte Cross reports on Operation Gritrock, the plan to deploy British troops to combat the spread of Ebola in Sierra Leone.
Britain is to deploy more than 750 military personnel to West Africa to help with the establishment of Ebola treatment centres and an Ebola training academy as part of increased efforts to prevent the global spread of the disease.
The latest deployment of British military personnel to the Ebola-affected region followed a meeting of the Government's Cobra emergency committee chaired by the Prime Minister.
