Reservists In Action: Forces Medics Show Off Their Skills

Medics have been travelling from across Scotland to see their colleagues at work as reservists.

It was a unique opportunity for the NHS and the military to come together while witnessing the training of 205 Field Hospital.

From pharmacy staff to emergency doctors, the tri-service event welcomed everyone. 

Sean Carruthers, a Royal Navy reservist nurse, said:

"A lot of big organisations have employees who work in the reserves but they don't really know what they do."

"The idea is to invite these organisations to see what their employees get up to on training weekends."
