Reservists Prepare For Icy Adventure

Facing -50C winds and blinding snow isn't for everyone, but for some reservists, it will be part of an adventure they'll embark on in November.

It certainly takes a special breed of reservist to attempt a three-month trek across the South Pole.

And of the 50 who applied, only five have made it through the selection process.

They'll be participating in Spear 17, the Army Reserve's expedition to the South Pole next year, in support of the Army Benevolent Fund.

Forces TV had a chance to catch up with them as they prepared for their adventure in Antarctica.
