Royal British Legion Releases General Election Manifesto
The Royal British Legion has launched its own general election manifesto, listing five pledges it wants from political parties to support veterans and their families.
It is taking the campaign to the three main party conferences over the coming weeks, trying to get support.
The issues include improvements in medical and mental healthcare, protection of incomes for injured veterans, and changes so that some war widows don't lose their pensions if they settle with a new partner.
James Hirst spoke to the Legion's Assistant Director, Nick Donovan.
