Royal Marines to Protect Buckingham Palace to Honour 350th Anniversary

The Royal Marines will be seen on guard duty outside Buckingham Palace for the first time in 28 years.

The ceremonial honour is being accorded to "the Bootnecks" in their 350th anniversary year. From June 17th, the men of 42 Commando will spend the coming weeks standing to attention outside Royal residences, accompanied by their band to entertain the capital's tourists.

Julie Knox has caught up with the Marines who were finessing their drill on final rehearsal.
