Scores Killed in Iraq Provincial Capital as Crisis Continues

Scores of people have been killed during a battle for a provincial capital in Iraq. 

Fighting has shut the main oil refinery, starving parts of the country of fuel and power as an uprising by Sunni insurgents continues. 

Government forces said they repelled an attempt to seize Baquba, north of Baghdad, in heavy fighting overnight.
