Threat Posed by Islamic State an "Apocalyptic, End-of-Days Vision"
America’s top general has described the threat posed by the Islamic State as an apocalyptic, end-of-days vision which will have to be defeated.
General Martin Dempsey said IS militants in Syria will also need addressing.
Meanwhile the family of murdered American journalist James Foley has released an email sent to them last week by Islamic State militants.
