Veteran Compensation Claims Suffer Serious Delays
The Ministry of Defence has admitted there have been serious delays over compensation claims for injured veterans. They say there has been a huge rise in claims with around 36,000 alone last year. They say staff shortages are also to blame but also say Veterans UK, who process the clains, have become more efficient.
