Veterans Face Further Wait For National Defence Medal

Veterans calling for a National Defence Medal have been told they face a further wait.

The campaigners say some four million veterans and their families deserve the honour for service to their country since 1945.

After a review last year the Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg now says the campaigners will have to wait for a conclusion until July.
