War Horse Ride Reaches Its Final Destination

Twenty four riders dressed in 1914 field service uniform have ridden into Nery, a village Northeast of Paris, on the final leg of the 2014 War Horse ride.

The ride has been retracing the steps of the Great Retreat of 1914 when the British Cavalry marched 100 miles back across France following the Battle of Mons.

Our reporter Hannah King has been with them throughout their journey south.
