16-Year-Old First World War Hero Remembered

John Jack Cornwell was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross following his actions at the Battle of Jutland.

He stuck by his gun on HMS Chester - despite a barrage of enemy fire which eventually took his life.

He was 16-years-old.
