EXCLUSIVE: Could This Be The Future For Royal Navy Boats?

BAE Systems are developing unmanned rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) for use in the Royal Navy.

The unmanned technology, with the potential to change the face of naval operations within the decade, will allow crews to carry out vital tasks such as high speed reconnaissance and remote surveillance while keeping sailors out of harm’s way.

Forces TV were exclusively invited to see the first on-water prototype demonstration of the highly manoeuvrable multi-role boat.
