F-35 to Miss Farnborough Airshow
Officials have admitted the F-35 Lightning II will not appear at the opening of the Farnborough International Airshow. The fleet of fighters have been grounded since July as Engineers investigate an engine fire in a test plane.
The fighter will eventually be used by the Royal Navy on their new Aircraft Carriers. Organisers of the show have said they hope it will appear at the end of the week.
