Former Marine Takes on Swimming at the Invictus Games
Cath Brazier meets Alex Brewer in the third of our profiles on British athletes taking part in the Invictus Games. The former marine was serving with 42 Commando on Op Herrick 14 when he was blown up by an IED.
Sport played a key role in his life before and after injury and has been crucial to his recovery and he’ll be competing in Swimming and Athletics when the Games kick off.
