Former Navy Commander With Terminal Cancer In Charity Swim

He's been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer but that hasn't stopped a former Royal Navy commander preparing for an extraordinary challenge.

As Comanding Officer of the navy's largest training site HMS Raleigh Commodore Laurie Brokenshire helped shape the careers of countless servicemen and women.

Now, despite his serious health condition, he's set to lead a 30-mile open water swim to raise money for three charities close to his heart.
