"Funding Problems Put Surface Fleet At Risk" Claim Former Navy Heads

Two former heads of the Royal Navy have claimed funding problems are putting the Royal Navy’s surface fleet at risk.
 
They’ve told MP’s replacements for aging frigates are being delayed, and that numbers of ships are already ‘inadequate’.
 
But the MOD says it’s investing 8 billion pounds in new ships over the next decade.
