HMS Illustrious To Be Retired Next Month
The Royal Navy's helicopter carrier HMS Illustrious will be retired next month after 32 years of service.
HMS Ocean, which has just received a £65 million refit, will replace the Portsmouth-based warship.
A decommissioning ceremony will be held later in the year and the final return of Illustrious to base may be as early as next Tuesday.
