Marine Dressed as Butcher Bikes for Charity

Nigel Thomas is a former Royal Marine and Special Forces veteran. He's about to embark on a challenge to ride a single-gear, 1940s Butcher's Bike 1,027 miles from Land's End to John o' Groats. He's doing it to raise £1 million for three Forces charities: Team Army, Hire a Hero and Walk on Wales.

Nigel will carry his tent and provisions in the front of the bike and camp overnight in fields and lay-bys.
