Royal Navy Medics Take Part in Exercise Joint Warrior

Exercise Joint Warrior is under way in Scotland.

It's Europe's largest annual exercise – with 13,000 troops taking part.

Thirty five naval ships are also involved, including British ship RFA Argus, which is kitted out as a floating hospital.

Using lessons learned in Afghanistan, the medics can deal with scores of casualties at any one time, including intensive care and complex surgery.
