Royal Navy's HMS Oardacious crew prepares to row 'world's toughest' Atlantic challenge
Members of a team from the Royal Navy are completing their final training before attempting one of the toughest rowing challenges in the world in December.
The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge involves rowing more than 3,000 miles from San Sebastian in La Gomera, Canary Islands, to Nelson's Dockyard in Antigua.
Five Royal Navy personnel make up this year's HMS Oardacious crew – it's a concept that has been running since 2020 and has raised more than £150,000 to provide mental health and well-being to sailors, veterans, and their families.
