84 Squadron: Stranded At Sea

All this week we’ve been looking at the history of the RAF’s 84 Squadron.

Based in Cyprus it’s the last remaining RAF Search and Rescue unit.

And this month it celebrates its centenary.

One of 84’s prime roles is rescuing people stranded at sea – including aircrew who may have ejected from their fast jets.
