Civilians On The Picket Line In Cyprus
Hundreds of civilian staff at British military bases in Cyprus have been on strike over a pay row.
The Sovereign Base Areas have already made millions of pounds in cuts.
Now officials say they need to cut salaries too.
Around 1,300 Locally Employed Civilians, known as LEC's, work on the British bases in Cyprus.
They range from labourers to some teachers and civil servants.
Around a third are believed to have gone on strike today.
