In pictures: Pathfinders put skills to the test jumping from RAF C-17s at 12,000ft
Take a look at some stunning shots of 16 Air Assault Brigade's Pathfinders (PF) jumping from RAF C-17 Globemasters at 12,000ft.
99 Squadron, part of RAF Brize Norton's Air Mobility Force (AMF), took part in flying sorties as part of Exercise Paramoose.
The parachutists descended from a height of 12,000ft onto the dropzone at RAF Weston-on-the-Green.
Ex Paramoose is a freefall training exercise that ensures that the RAF's frontline C17 Squadron maintains "vital parachuting currencies", says the RAF.
"Completing Exercise Paramoose allows 99 Squadron, the AMF and wider defence, the ability to employ a vital capability that can be used with great effect anywhere in the world at a moment's notice," said the RAF.
Alongside the C17, members of the Airborne Delivery Wing, the UK's military parachute training school, completed their own Despatcher and Dropzone Safety Officer qualifications.
16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team, on X, formerly known as Twitter, said: "Freefall parachuting gives PF a discrete option to be first in to carry out battle-winning reconnaissance."
