The King's Official Birthday celebration ended with an RAF flypast above Buckingham Palace, with the Red Arrows leaving their trademark red, white and blue vapour trails in the sky behind them.

The Royal Family observed the display from the balcony of Buckingham Palace, watching the aircraft roar overhead after the skies cleared following a heavy downpour during the Trooping the Colour parade.

The flypast showcased 34 RAF aircraft including Chinook helicopters and F-35 fighter jets, as well as the iconic Red Arrows Hawks.
