Puma Crash Pilots Repatriated Back To The UK
The bodies of two British servicemen who died when their helicopter crashed in Afghanistan last week have been flown home.
Flight Lieutenants Alan Scott and Geraint Roberts were both killed when their Puma crashed as it came in to land in Kabul, Afghanistan.
The Puma can carry 16 passengers at a time as well as underslung loads.
They are smaller and more agile than the Chinooks they replaced so Pumas are ideal for an urban environment.
The last repatriation flights that landed at Brize Norton from Afghanistan were in 2014.
That was following a Lynx helicopter crash which came down near the border with Pakistan killing five service personnel.
Kaija Larke is at RAF Brize Norton for Forces TV.
