RAF Junior Ranks Given Chance to Fly
Members of the RAF junior ranks are being offered the chance to learn to fly thanks to a new initiative.
The Junior Rank Pilots Scholarship Scheme, funded by the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust in partnership with the RAF Flying Clubs Association, will see up to eight people take to the skies and achieve solo standard in a light aircraft.
Matt Teale met RAF Charitable Trust Director Amanda Butcher in the Forces TV studio and asked her how the project came about.
