RAF Puma 2 Helicopters Arrive in Afghanistan
The first RAF Puma HC Mk2 helicopters have arrived in Afghanistan ready to begin their maiden operational deployment.
The aircrafts, flown by 33 and 230 squadrons at RAF Benson, will take over from the Chinook force in Kabul.
They'll provide aviation support to British and coalition troops who are still in Afghanistan in non-combat roles.
The Puma 2 upgrade is part of a £260 million extension programme which includes new engines and improved ballistic protection.
