UK Places Order For Lightning II Fighter Jets

The UK has formally placed an order for its first four front line F-35 fighter jets.
 
The aircraft, also known as Lightning II, will replace the RAF’s Tornado fighter bombers – as well as the Harrier jumpjet.
 
They’ll eventually fly from the new Queen Elizabeth class of aircraft carrier.
