25-Year-Old Soldier Dies Suddenly On Birthday

Tributes have been paid to a ‘brilliant’ young soldier who died at his North Yorkshire Barracks over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
Corporal Adam Hosford passed away at Catterick Garrison on Easter Monday.
It’s believed to have been his 25th birthday.
Cpl Hosford was a member of the Royal Dragoon Guards.
The regiment broke the news on their Facebook page:
"It is with the utmost sadness that the regiment must announce that Corporal Adam Hosford tragically died in Catterick Garrison over the Easter Weekend.
"We have lost a brilliant soldier and a loyal friend.""We will cherish his memory. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and loved ones."
“It is requested that they be given privacy during this difficult time. Quis Separabit.”
North Yorkshire Police were called to the Garrison on Monday following reports of a man’s “sudden death”.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Over 2,000 tributes were posted on the Royal Dragoon’s Facebook page.
Russell Dudley wrote: “Broken is not the word. Mate I'm proud to have been part of your life and sad not to be able to speak to you now. Rest easy young brother I will miss you lots. QS.”
Tom Chapman posted:
"Adam it was an absolute privilege and an honour having you in my troop, a real inspiration and a role model. My thoughts go out to your family at such a sad time! You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace. QS."
And Kimberley Duncan paid this tribute: "R.I.P Mate you were some character! Always a good laugh and drinking buddy. Pleasure to have known you. Thoughts are with your family. Rest easy buddy x"
The Royal Dragoon Guards is one of the most experienced cavalry units in the British Army.
