The Amputee Raising The Bar

"Andy Grant - record holder" has a nice ring to it.

So says Andy Grant, anyway, who's been on a high since breaking the world record for running 10km with one leg.

Andy completed the race in 37 minutes and 17 seconds, and beat the previous record by 36 seconds in the process.

The former Royal Marine spoke with Forces TV about his running.

He's trying to raise the ceiling that limits the distance amputees can run in the Olympics to 400 metres, and hopes his new record will work in his favour.
