"Cheryl James Bullet Wound May Not Have Been Self-Inflicted"

Lawyers for the family of Private Cheryl James, who died at Deepcut Barracks in Surrey 20 years ago, have said evidence from pathologists shows that the fatal bullet wound may not have been self-inflicted.

The family's barrister was speaking during legal argument ahead of a new inquest into Private James's death.

Alison Foster QC said that third-party involvement in the soldier's death was more than merely speculation.
