Chinese Sniper Achieves The Impossible

A Chinese sniper has achieved what has previously been considered an impossible feat of skill, concentration and accuracy.
During an intense three day training course seventy of the country's elite snipers were set extreme tasks to test their patience along with their physical and mental control.
One such test was poking multiple holes through a single grain of rice with a fine needle. The previous record set by a Peoples Liberation Army recruit stood at nine until a soldier named Xu Guangming blew the competition away with an extraordinary 13 holes.
Other tests for China's PLA and Armed Police Force snipers included lying prone and unmoving on stony ground for up to two hours while focussed on a target.
Stacking shell cases on top of each other and balancing them on the muzzle of rifles is another discipline favoured by instructors.
The world's most lethal sniper alive today however belongs to the British Royal Marines. The unnamed Corporal has 173 confirmed kills - most recorded while serving in Afghanistan during 2006 and 2007.
