The Endeavour To Get A Passion Back For Life
Prince Harry has attended a reception at St James's Palace to celebrate the achievements of the charity he set up with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to support wounded, injured and sick Service Personnel and veterans.
The Endeavour Fund encourages those using sport and adventurous challenges as part of their recovery and rehabilitation. Prince Harry said:
"It never ceases to amaze me the commitment, determination and resolve of these men and women."
Our reporter Laura Hawkins spoke to Lance Corporal JJ Chalmers, who has benefitted from the Endeavour Fund and competed in the cycling events at the Invictus Games. He said:
"Suddenly you realise, no, you know what, I don't need to accept. Average isn't good enough. I want to be the person I was before. There's no reason why I can't be as ambitious as I once was."
