Chief of the Defence Staff hails services' achievements on Armed Forces Day

The Chief of the Defence Staff has celebrated the achievements of the three services on operations and exercises around the world.
Admiral Sir Tony Radakin said Armed Forces Day was about acknowledging the "here and now" of what the military was doing.
He highlighted the work the military is achieving worldwide as celebrations took place across the UK, with military displays, parades and entertainment in more than 100 locations.
Adm Sir Tony also emphasised the importance of the support of family and friends in supporting the Armed Forces.
"This is an extraordinary time. We recognise that the world is more dangerous, but we should seek some reassurance in who we are and what we have," said the Chief of the Defence Staff.
To conclude, Adm Sir Tony said: "I really want to thank our people in uniform for their service, their commitment and all that they're doing for our nation.
"I also want to thank our family and friends that enable us to serve.
"And then I also want to thank the nation for celebrating their Armed Forces, taking the time to understand better what it is that we provide on their behalf but also for reflecting a nation's gratitude to its Armed Forces."
To commemorate this year's Armed Forces Day a new photograph of the King in military uniform was released.
Taken in the Grand Corridor at Windsor Castle, King Charles is seen wearing his Field Marshal No1 Full Ceremonial Frock Coat with medals, sword and decorations.
Queen Camilla also paid tribute to the military's determination and loyalty in a special message recorded by BFBS, Forces News' parent charity, to celebrate Armed Forces Day.
Speaking from Clarence House, the Queen thanked the Armed Forces for everything they do to protect the country.
"Your determination, unrelenting efforts and selfless loyalty to each other and to the United Kingdom are as enduring as our gratitude," she said.
Children from Queen Berengaria School at Dhekelia in Cyprus were among those taking part in the Armed Forces Day events.
They had all kinds of Armed Forces personnel running a round robin of activities for the children, from a drill sergeant doing drill sessions, a personal trainer doing fitness sessions, to a display from catering with ration packs.
The school even had medics carry out a first aid session as well as an informative weapons and snipers display.
