'HMS Ambush Crash Will Put Strain On Sub Fleet'

As HMS Ambush makes her way back to the UK for repairs following the collision in Gibraltar, an expert from the think tank RUSI has told Forces TV her absence will put a strain on the rest of Britain's nuclear submarines.

Peter Roberts says the UK's fleet is already at full capacity, and that it will be felt most by the crews.

An immediate investigation was launched after HMS Ambush was involved in a "glancing" collision with a merchant vessel while submerged off the coast of Gibraltar.
