RAF Syrian Drone Strike Kills Two British IS Fighters
The Prime Minister David Cameron has informed the House of Commons that an RAF drone strike inside Syria has killed two British men fighting for Islamic State.
Calling the action 'an act of self defence', Cardiff-born Reyaad Khan and Ruhul Amin from Aberdeen were killed in a missile attack on the 21st of August.
The men, who were in Mr Cameron's words plotting to carry out 'barbaric attacks' in the UK, were operating in the IS stronghold of Raqqa.
It's understood they were travelling in a vehicle when remotely targeted in the Hellfire missile precision strike.
Parliament has previously voted against military action inside Syria and a new vote on whether to expand the current bombing mission in Iraq into the country is imminent.

In a statement however the Prime Minister was adamant that the Reaper attack was legal, lawful and necessary.
"There was a terrorist directing murder on our streets and no other means to stop him. This government does not for one moment take these decisions lightly."
"Did he represent an ongoing threat or was the threat based on a specific act he was plotting?"
